Birthing Your Way Midwife:
This includes your standard prenatal care, the birth, postpartum visits, and a special gift from us to you.  This works out well for those without insurance or those with high deductibles usually over $2500.
Birthing Your Way, LLC, has merged with the group practice at Feels Like Home Birth Suites. We offer great care to our clients in this practice with the benefit of two midwives.
We also wanted to let you know that we do barter and trade for those who have a skill that we are in need of. Things that have been traded are:
  • piano lessons
  • yard work
  • repairs
  • furniture
  • computer skills
  • webpages
  • etc. . .

Late to Care
  • Before 20 weeks, no discount is given.  There is a
    lot of prenatal care to do still.
  • 20-28 weeks- $1850 (must show proof of at least 3 prenatals)
  • 29-34 weeks- $1750 (must show proof of at least 5 prenatals)
  • 35+ weeks- $1650 (must show proof of at least 7 prenatals)

The Group Practice is when you will
rotate between Heather and Lisa for
your care. We suggest that at some
point you meet both of them as they
rotate call for births.

Late to Care
You just found out about us and have
been getting prenatal care from another
maternity provider. We do offer
discounts to late transfers of care,
but only if proof of sufficient (TBD
by midwife at BYW) prenatal care in
this pregnancy can be provided.
Extras that may be chosen or needed:

  • Ultrasounds  (covered by most insurances) ($160+)
  • Blood work  (covered by most insurances) ($75+)
  • Labs   (covered by most insurances) ($10)
  • Rhogam for Rh- mothers  (covered by most insurances) ($150+)
  • IV if needed  ($60+)
  • Vitamin K for baby  ($15)
  • Eye ointment (antibiotics) for baby   ($15)
  • Blood typing for mom or baby  (covered by most insurances) ($15)
  • Antibiotics if wanted for GBS in labor  ($75+)
  • Birth kit supplies $68
  • Herbs and supplements as needed
  • Childbirth classes $75-$300 depending on the class
  • Birth tub set-up and take down with liner   ($75+)
* Births outside of Utah County may be assed an additional traveling fee.
*Out of Network Insurance billing extra
*Flex spending can cover most of these costs
* If you would like insurance billed after the birth of the baby we will supply you with a receipt and the proper codes to bill.
